About Hunger

In conjunction with Food Bank Canada, our members participate in the Annual Hunger Count. Hunger Count is a moment in time annual survey that helps community supporters and stakeholders better understand who we serve, the community challenges and the recommended solutions to hunger and food insecurity across Canada, Saskatchewan and in your community.

This year the annual Hunger Count showed that in March 2016 over 31,000 people were served at food banks across Saskatchewan of which 45% were children.  Your support is more critical than ever.

Food Banks of Saskatchewan remains committed to supporting our member food banks across the province to relieve hunger and food insecurity and to build a network of supports and services for those we serve.
